Survey: Projenz offers clients a wide variety of cadastral services including Land Transfer Survey and Boundary Redefinitions. Cadastral surveys can range from simple boundary adjustments and computed plans (where no field work is required) through to multi lot subdivisions, unit title developments, and resource consents.
(A Cadastral survey is needed for subdivisions or proposed property developments. A full survey is required where new boundaries are to be created. This involves providing a full data set of field survey information to be lodged with Land Information New Zealand (LINZ). Information received by LINZ is examined and eventually approved as to survey. LINZ then deposit the plans after any requisitions have been met and then issue new Certificates of Title. Subdivision Development and Resource Consent: Subdivision Development, Urban Design and Planning are continually evolving disciplines. In the past such work has been undertaken only by Surveyors, however the advent of the Resource Management Act 1991 (RMA) saw this change significantly. These days anyone can submit a resource consent or development plan to their local Territorial Authority. However due to complex nature of both the RMA and local government rules most now find it prudent to engage professionals to see this process through.
