With the purchase of the surrounding land alongside the Manapouri Airport, Southland District Council (SDC) embarked on a redevelopment of this asset so that the airport could be utilised as a publicly accessible airport. From the planning stages, Projenz were engaged to provide feasibility reports, investigation, design and contract documentation. Projenz also provided the client with hangar ownership options and a report on the business case for the District. Outline plans and specific aircraft operations and noise manuals plus a full master plan were produced with specific advice from Astral and Zomac Solutions. Projenz are currently project managing all civil engineering works and construction of the terminal building. Throughout this process, Projenz are responsible for maintaining quality control and quality assurance for all services delivered.
